20+ Very useful jquery scroll plugin

01. ScrollMagic

The jQuery plugin for magical scroll interactions. ScrollMagic takes an object oriented approach using a controller for each scroll container and attaching multiple scenes defining what should happen at what part of the page. While this offers a great deal of control, it might be a little confusing, especially if you’re just starting out with javascript.
If the above points are not crucial for you and you are just looking for a simple solution to implement css animations I would strongly recommend taking a look at the awesome skrollr project. It almost solely relies on element attributes and thus requires minimal to no javascript knowledge.

06. Stellar.js

Parallax scrolling made easy. Stellar.js has two methods for positioning elements built in: ‘position’ for modifying its top and left properties, and ‘transform’ for using CSS3 transforms.

If you need more control over how elements are positioned, you can write your own setter functions. For example, if ‘position’ didn’t exist yet, it could be written as a plugin like this.

07. SuperScrollorama

SuperScrollorama is powered by TweenMax and the Greensock Tweening Engine. Go to greensock.com for documentation on how to use it. Why Greensock/TweenMax? Great performance, ease-of-use, expandibility and basically because it is awesome.

First, link to the jQuery CDN and then embed TweenMax.js and SuperScrollorama. Next, start up SuperScrollorama. Think of it as a controller for animation. You add tweens and timelines to it, targeting when an element appears in the viewport or at a specific scroll point.
